Brief Description

In November 2023, Ireland introduced five days of fully paid domestic violence leave in any 12-month period, fulfilling a commitment in both the Programme for Government 2020 and the Third National Strategy on DSGBV. Women’s Aid was commissioned to support employers in developing domestic violence workplace policies, recognising the need for society-wide efforts to achieve concrete change in the workplace and beyond.
